A Day of Endings

Today has been a day of endings for me. I took my last final (in computer science) this morning, and I worked my last shift at Guadalahonky’s tonight. I am glad for the semester to be over, but not so glad to quit my job. I’ve really enjoyed the people I worked with, and the food at Guad’s is pretty good. I’ll definately have to stop in from time to time to say hello.

Hopefully next week will be a week of beginnings for me, but that remains to be seen. I haven’t had any calls from iAccess, yet. I told them I’d be available to start next Monday (May 13) so I guess I really should be giving them a call soon, eh?

Stu’s Bachelor Party

Stu's Bachelor Party

Well, Stu’s getting married this Friday. Can you believe it? I feel kindof bad that I waited so long, but we threw together a little bachelor party for him tonight. Stu, myself, Jared (Shilo’s brother), and Jeremy all went to Classic Skating. We’ve been to Classic a lot but I’ve never noticed the Polaroid machine. When I saw it I realized we had to have something to capture the memory. Here’s the picture in all it’s glory. After skating we all went to my house for pizza and a movie (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon). Jess joined us about halfway through the pizza, and stuck around for most of the movie.

I’ve never been to a bachelor party, but everyone seemed to have fun, so I’d call it a general success. I just want to say congratulations to Stu. May your marriage be a long and healthy one, my friend!

New Pictures of Merissa and Steve

I’ve updated my Family section a bit to include pictures from Merissa and Steve’s wedding. We don’t have anything back from the professional photographer, but you can always trust my dad to have the good ol’ digital camera handy. He managed to get some really beautiful pictures. I just want to say congratulations to the two of them, and kudos to everyone involved in the planning, especially my mom. It was one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever seen.

Finals Week 2002

Wow, this week has been a little much for me. It’s winding down now, and for that I’m grateful. I just finished the first of my two finals (the Biology one). The second one (my Computer Science final) will be next Wednesday.

I’m trying to figure out what I need for next fall, and I think I’m going to take Calculus I over the Internet this summer. I don’t want any scheduled classes, because I plan to spend the summer working to save money for school and whatever else lies ahead.

Anyway, the whole point of putting this entry in was to say that I’ve added Problem Set 11 (the last one!) to my Computer Stuff page.

Merissa’s Wedding Day

The Beautiful Bride

Today is my sister’s wedding day. She is one of my best friends. I’ve seen her grow so much in the 20 years we’ve known each other. Never have I seen her more beautiful than today. Steve and Merissa: I want to congratulate both of you and extend my best wishes for a happy life together. I love you!
