Designs for the new “Freedom Tower”, to be built on Ground Zero, were unveiled on Friday. It’s got elements reminiscent of the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty, and will be exactly 1,776 feet tall to commemorate the signing of the Declaration of Independence. A fairly large section of the building is simply a wire frame that has several wind turbines built in. The turbines will provide 20-40% of the building’s electricity.

  1. Questions: Aren’t there other blogs on the site? How do you get to them? How can I post some latest happenings in my life? What is the shelf life of a Twinkie?

  2. I know that to be untrue, my friends. I had a box of twinkies that sat on my shelf for nearly 6 months. I thought they were all gone, but low and behold, one remained. I eagerly tore the package open, only to find that my twinkie was not edible. Maybe the twinkie itself was ebible, but that would have required removing an obscene amount of mold.

So while the substance twinkies are made out of may never be destroyed (or created for that matter), the twinkie itself is not immortal. Sorry, :)
